Between 18:30 and 08:15 the following day, and at weekends - Do not call the Health Centre for routine or non-urgent matters.
If you require urgent care that cannot wait until we reopen, please ring 111 for the NHS urgent care line. Please be aware that this line can sometimes be very busy but your call will always be answered. The 111 line is free from landlines and mobile phones in the UK.
If you feel your problem is an emergency (life threatening) then you may wish to call 999.

Not all doctors consult every day. For your information detailed below the current working days for Doctors at the Practice:-
The world of medicine is an ever changing one, which is why we need to ensure that all of our team members are up to speed with the latest developments, regulations and improvements in patient care. This includes our team of receptionists, who need, among other things, to be confident in their life support training, should there be an emergency in the waiting room.
To make this training really effective, we need to train the team all together at the same time. Consequently, on the third Tuesday of every month the surgery will be closed from 1pm and reopen as usual the following day at 8:15am. If you require medical advice or assistance please call the NHS service on 111. Please note all calls are free to this number.

There is a new Health Visiting Out of Hours Telephone Advice line which operates Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 20:00. The service will cover all areas within the Kirklees locality. A Health Visitor will be available to provide advice and support over the telephone - the new out of hours number is 03033 309588 (which is a low cost number when dialled from a land line or mobile telephone).
During normal working hours patients should continue to contact their named Health Visiting Team who will be able to offer support and advice within four hours.
Please note this is not an emergency service and does not replace 111 or 999.
111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
